A disguised Nelson joins Pooran's entourage to attend his wife Jhalkari Bai's marital 'gauna' and sneaks into Jhansi's royal palace to see Jhalkari Bai. After Laxmi Bai sees him, Hariya takes him away. Laxmi Bai applies 'tilak' on the entourage's members, including Nelson. Karma soon confirms her evidential suspicion that he is indeed Nelson. A blackened Jhalkari is presented to the guests as part of a ritual, which fools Nelson.
