Despised by her stepmother and sister, Miyo is treated like a servant in her own home. One day, her father calls her in to discuss her future.

Determined to be of use, Miyo wakes up early and prepares breakfast, but Kiyoka accuses her of trying to poison him and refuses to take a bite.

While Kiyoka takes Miyo out to town, he quickly notices that she behaves very differently from other wealthy daughters he's encountered.

To surprise Kiyoka with a handmade gift, Miyo goes into town to shop for some material. Meanwhile, Kiyoka pays Miyo's parents a visit.

Engulfed with jealousy, Kaya tries to thwart Miyo's engagement to Kiyoka. Miyo leaves the house and forgets to bring the good luck charm Kiyoka gave her.

Miyo wakes up to her sister and stepmother threatening her. Together with Koji, Kiyoka arrives at the Saimori home and demands to see his fiancée.

Kiyoka accompanies Miyo to the remains of the Saimori home at her request. Later, a stunning visitor comes by their home.

Hazuki and Miyo grow closer through their lessons. Worried, Kiyoka tries to get to the bottom of Miyo's relentless nightmares.

Upon returning to the capital, the group has an unsettling encounter with Naoshi Usui. Kiyoka assigns Miyo a bodyguard: the dashing Kaoruko Jinnouchi.

Miyo overhears soldiers disparaging Kaoruko and defends her friend. Later, she has a troubling nightmare. Is it just a dream or a glimpse of the future?

As Kiyoka rushes to meet Arata at the imperial family's vacation estate, Usui surprises Miyo and her guards at the dojo, revealing a traitor among them.

After a tender New Year's Eve, Miyo and Kiyoka make their first shrine visit together. Meanwhile, Takahito learns of growing unrest in the streets.

At a surprise gathering, Hazuki and her guests share their thoughts on love. Later, Miyo's worries grow after learning of Takahito's ominous vision.

While Kiyoka's unit investigates a strange demon, the Gifted Communion makes a ruthless move. Miyo enters a foreboding dream where a young Usui awaits.

Determined to save her fiancé, Miyo sneaks out and runs into a young boy with a familiar face. Later, she dreams of a tragic promise from the past.

After awakening from her dream, Miyo begins to gather allies for the rescue mission. Will her blossoming powers be enough to save Kiyoka and stop Usui?

In the final battle, Usui overwhelms Kiyoka, trapping him in a terrible nightmare. Desperate to prevent more bloodshed, Miyo dives into the dream.

After the battle, Miyo confides in Arata about her regrets. Kiyoka makes a big life decision. Later, Hazuki surprises Miyo with a heartfelt wedding gift.
