Season 1

In episode one we get cracking - introducing New Zealand to these hard out characters of Bluff. But the action cranks in pretty fast as Jayce nearly gets nailed on the back of the boat - and Slade is in the wars too. As we look to see who'll score the biggest catch over this vital period we meet the three main boats - John The Pro; Vaughn The Man and Rewi The Rookie. After episode one, man, we know how tough it is on these boats ... but just wait for episode two.

At the end of episode one we seen Vaughn and John creaming it - but Rewi coming up dry. How do his fortunes go in episode two? Especially with a massive storm coming in ... In this episode we sort the men from the boys and see a massive storm pass through the fleet. A ripper!

Vaughn's doing really well but in this episode he has a major setback ... what could it be? Meanwhile after the storm, everyone seems to go mad. Ever seen a man eat a live octopus? Or someone dive for Paua surrounded by sharks? Meanwhile a determined Rewi is on the comeback trail as Vaughn tries to overcome the odds.

Rewi faces a big dilemma - go after a valuable haul of crayfish or rescue a mate in distress. Dave attempts a daring air lift at sea and John's catch is in danger at the local fish factory.

Vaughn takes a huge gamble as he chases top dollar for his crayfish, and Rex is determined to bring the All Blacks to deepest darkest Fiordland.

Rewi and Storm battle the weather and stuck craypots to try to land a big catch. Shannon and his crew fish rough seas with bad hangovers, and Slade goes house-hunting in Invercargill.

Dave and Colin battle bad weather as they chase their most crucial load yet, while John and his crew face tangled pots and plummeting prices.

As exhaustion sets in, Vaughn and Jayce reach breaking point, while Graham has big problems with his new boat.

Rewi meets a hermit, Storm makes a leap of faith and John pulls up some monsters from the deep.

The race is on for the southern crayfishermen to land their last catches of the season, before the prices drop for good.
