At the reception, the Hewitts receive telegrams from Alice Burgess, David Barlow, Billy Walker, Joan Davies, Ivan and Nona. Dot Greenhalgh fancies Bill but Alf tries to get him interested in Elsie - something which doesn't go unnoticed by Ena. Harry and Concepta go on honeymoon and book into the Cresta Hotel at Port Erin on the Isle of Man.
