Season 7

Yasmin decided that she wanted to get on with her life after Gabriel left her, she declined a date from Marc but after thinking about it - asked him out. Dave and Jake asked Yasmin to be an independant witness against Gabriel in order to help Jake get off. She declined, saying that she was just as affraid of Gabriel as them. Lucy came around after her overdose, she bonded with Eileen and told her that she didn't want anything to do with Pete, she didn't even want a visit from him at the hospital, but she didn't object to a relationship between Eileen and Pete.

Pete and Eileen fought after the dinner party. He trapped her in the pub and when she tried to make a run for it he went after her. Yasmin failed to tell the wedding planner that she didn't have a groom she also fired Chrissy and tried to kiss Marc.

Lucy can't sleep with worrying about the whereabouts of Eileen. To make matters worse, Sadie told Lucy about Pete's revelations to her the night before - that he felt responsible for Eileen's disappearance and that he wished he hadn't hurt her. Lucy got worked up and went to the pub to yell at Pete, she accused him of killing Eileen. Later, he told her that his feeling responsible for Eileen's departure didn't mean that he'd killed her, in fact he wanted to help Lucy find her mum. Lucy was undecided. Tanya found out from Dave that Sean had been having second thoughts about having a baby with her; he denied that he still had these feelings of doubt. Benji then told Tanya that Sean had spent the night with a man he'd met at the pub last Thursday, when she confronted Sean he told her that he'd slept on the man's sofa-bed - alone. With a little bit of persuading, she believed him and they decided that they both really wanted to have this baby. Chrissy told Gary and Myra that she though

This episode focuses entirely on the Costello family. Lewis visits Melanie and tells her that it was his choice to take the pills and that she shouldn't feel guilty about it. Gary and Chrissy continue to argue after Chrissy finds out that Gary wasn't fired, but instead he left his job voluntarily to save a college of his from jail. Chrissy tells him that this friend of his had tried to sleep with her while Gary was away on business. While playing around in Mel's room, Chloe finds her sister's pills and takes one! She tells her parents that she's feeling unwell and they make plans to keep her off school. Just as Chrissy heads to work, Chloe collapses on the stairs. Chloe is taken to hospital; the doctors cannot determine the cause of Chloe's illness. Later, she falls into a coma! Gary and Chrissy sort out their differences in the hospital. We learn about Chrissy's childhood. Her mother left when her younger sister died suddenly of cancer and she grew up in a flat with her father

Kelly spent the night with Benji - but made it very clear to him that they were just friends and nothing more. The inquest's verdict into his father's death was 'accidental death', this angered Cameron who last night lost his job. He went to the cafe looking for Jake; he was told that he was missing. In the heat of the moment: he through a chair. Geri calmed him down and, worried about him, invited him to dinner that night. Pete comes round to see if Lucy is willing to work now that the pub was short staffed after he fired Cameron. She told him that she was too busy at the cafe. Later, Lucy comes home to find Pete on the couch with bruised knuckles. He tells her that he's driven 200 miles and spent nearly £1000, but he's found out that Eileen is alive. Lucy is relieved to hear this and thanks Pete. To her parent's relief, Chloe comes out of her coma. Mel goes home where Myra tells her that she should go to the hospital - not run away. Chloe comes home from hospital but she's not in the clear yet as the family are still awaiting her test results. Gary got a phonecall from his old pall Bob - who Chrissy has accused of hitting on her while Gary was away on buisiness. He's also the guy that Gary quit his job to protect. Gary confronted Bob in person in the swan and he told Gary that things just happened, Gary chose to believe Chrissy and told bob to stay away from him and his family. Lucy and Cameron get talking and they decide they should go travelling together. Cameron thanks Lucy for getting him his job back at the pub. Yasmin and Cat are feeling down about father and son, Doug and Marc. Doug seems to be interested in Sadie and Marc's talking Geri out. Yasmin gives Cat a makeover. Down at the pub later, Cat gets talking to two younger men and she thinks things are going weel but they leave quickly when she goes to the loo. She ends up having a nice evening with Doug. Gary got 3 points on his licence and a fine for speeding to the hospital; he was an hour late for his appointment. Earlier, we saw Chrissy come out of the doctor's office - she was very pale and looked worried. She and Chloe go for a walk . . . Sadie and Doug returned from their date at the theatre, Doug told Cat that he wasn't really a fan of the theatre and that he'd much rather have been with her than with Sadie. Sadie, however, had a wonderful time! Marc tells Yasmin that they should get married, they can always get divorced after the wedding. She eventually agrees. Meanwhile, Geri tells Cat that she's over the moon that she and Marc are an item. Cat can't believe that they're getting so serious after only one date. Cameron and Lucy are still fighting Lucy's solution is to eat as much chocolate as possible. Cameron's is to get drunk in the Swan. While there, he bumps into Justin. From BBC Pure Soap: Cameron told Cheryl the policeman he spoke to was very interested to hear Jake had absconded. Cheryl had lied at work to keep Jake out of trouble. Jake was not aware of her kindness. Myra confronted Chrissy about her inability to cope with Chloe's illness. She admitted having therapy back in the 60's and suggested it would help Chrissy too. Chrissy dismissed the idea. Jake had not eaten for two days. Lucy came to the rescue and they met in a café. She bought him lunch and gave him £20. She couldn't convince him to come home and face the music though. Yasmin had a shock when Trevor announced the magazine planned a Mr & Mrs competition for her and Marc. She really was unsure if she could keep up the façade.

Eileen can't decide whether to stay or leave. She overhears Lucy and Sadie talking, they agree that Eileen and Pete make a good couple. Eileen goes to the swan and offers to help out behind the bar while Pete is short staffed. Pete welcomes the help and in return, on Sadie's advice, he invites Eileen to have lunch with him. She agrees. Later, Eileen tells Pete that she is planning to stay in Charnham for Lucy's sake, but refuses to return Pete's strong feelings. Sadie's busy organising a bomb fire party (to be held on Friday - because that's when people are more likely to spend their cash). She asks for Myra's help to look over a few ideas that she'd put down. Later, Myra tells Sadie that her party is old fashioned and she should liven it up a bit. Sadie disagrees and tells Myra that her help won't be required. Benji invites Kelly to the cinema in the evening. She declines because she's taking part in a play at college, he asks if she'd like to go in the afternoon - she accepts. L

Kelly took a pregnancy test, it was positive. Her mother told her that they'd get through this together. Kelly asked her not to tell her father or Brendan until she'd come to terms with it. Denise tried to persuade Kelly to talk to Benji - Denise assumes he's the father . . . Kelly tells her mum that she'll speak to Benji but instead heads round to see Justin. Kelly and Justin don't get a chance to speak because Mel is there. Kelly leaves Justin and Mel confused. Later, Kelly bumps into Benji. When he asks her what's wrong she tells him that it's just college stuff - nothing for him to worry about. Sadie asks Doug to dinner because he's feeling lonely with Justin staying at the Davenport's. He agrees. Later, Sadie plays matchmaker as she tells Cat that she's going to make her dinner to cheer her up. Sadie leaves Cat and Doug to it. Benji can't get hold of Kelly and fears she's avoiding him. He's not too wrong. Kelly tells Justin that she's pregnant and that he's the father! He walked away in shock. Earlier, Justin made a move on Mel but she turned him down telling him they were just friends; she tells Kelly the same thing. Mel's upset that her family don't seem to care what she does or where she is, in fact they tell her to stay away that evening because Pete and Eileen are coming to dinner. Marc and Geri finally get some alone time but Yasmin walks in on them. She tells Marc that Nick, the photographer, is coming round tomorrow and it wouldn't look very good if he was showing a woman out. They are supposed to be the perfect couple. Marc can't take it any more and he and Geri go round to her place when Yasmin leaves the room! Lucy and Cheryl persuade Dave to swallow his pride and take Pete's money for Jake's bale. Roy told Pete that Yasmin had made a better offer on the cafe. Pete told him he'd pay more in cash; Roy said he'd think about it. Pete goes to the shop to ask Yasmin what she thinks she's doing; she tells him that she has every right to bid on the cafe as he does. Later, Pete tells Eileen that he'd had a few troubles with the purchase of the cafe but he'd seen to them. She tells him that she'd pleased but we can see that she's not . . . Benji gets a job in Leeds but isn't sure what to do about Kelly . . . Cameron and Lewis have returned, but Justin's still hanging around the flat. Cameron is happy with the arrangement but Lewis wants him out. Meanwhile, Justin's got problems of his own when Kelly tells Brendan that she can't stop thinking about Justin, Brendan goes to see him and Justin let's slip that Kelly's pregnant. Eileen's got a guilty conscience, but Pete doesn't understand what's wrong with her. Eileen can't bare to watch as Roy is pulled from the fire. Pete assumes that she was worried about him. Later, Eileen calls Mike and asks if they can meet - something's gone horribly wrong. Roy suffered severe burns. He was rushed to the hospital. Nikki insisted on going in the ambulance with him, despite being in a pretty bad way herself. Sadie went round to Sean and Tanya's to ask Sean to give her, Darren and Becky a lift to the hospital. Tanya says he can't because he's drunk. Sadie decides to get a cab. Sean agrees to come along to make sure everything's OK. Later, at the hospital, the doctor's prep Roy for surgery while Nikki wants to see her husband. As Roy goes into the operation theatre, they allow Nikki to see him. Pete suggests that he and Eileen postpone the wedding due to recent events. Eileen is upset by the idea; she is very upset by the whole ordeal. She tells Nikki that if she could turn the clock back she would. She calls Mike and tells him they need to talk. Sadie and Lucy agree to be Pete and Eileen's witnesses for their wedding. Chrissy wasn't very happy when Myra sent a 'few' boxes ahead of herself from Spain. Gary made a joke out of it and the girls made a game of trying to guess the contents of the boxes. The police were asking questions, the same police officer that investigated Josh Matthew's murder. They start with Nikki; she points the finger at Pete. She points out that the officer has charged him for murder before. Next, the police visit Yasmin. She tells them that Pete's offer on the cafe had not been accepted. Suggesting that he may have had motive. The police then visit Sadie's house but she's not home. Cat tells them that she's at work. On their way out, the police bum

The police question Pete and Eileen about the fire at the cafe. Pete tells them that he was at home with Eileen all evening. Eileen confirms the story, even though it's not true. Lester, Kelly's father, finds out that she's pregnant and isn't all that happy when he discovers that everybody else in the family seems to know already. He goes to the shop to talk to Benji but he's away over night DJing. Marc invites the family round for Sunday lunch the next day. They agree. Myra returns from Spain. Gary fetches her from the airport. Earlier, Gary tried to persuade Chrissy to be nice to her mother-in-law. She reluctantly agreed. When Myra arrives she's greeted by Sadie who tells her she's off to a singles party. It's bad news for Roy. The doctors all come to the same conclusion; there's nothing more they can do for him. They suggest that Nikki should take the decision to turn off Roy's life support. She still can't get hold of Vince, Roy's father.

From BBC Pure Soap: Dave burst into the courtroom at the eleventh hour with documents proving Jake was his official career and therefore an ‘exceptional circumstance' to prevent Jake's jail term. Jake took the honest road and made an emotional speech in court. He confessed he was never Dave's carer but that he felt remorse and sorrow at his actions. He went down for 2 years. D.I Kirkdale was hot on Pete's trail; he lurked around the pub and threatened Pete that the game was up. Pete worried enough to burn any incriminating documents without a trace. Yasmin's stress levels hit a new high when she discovered gardening tools delivered to the beauty salon by mistake. Happily Trevor came by to ask a favour and took her mind off the disaster.

From BBC Pure Soap: Myra explained to Gary it was not her who told Chloe she was suffering from cancer but a school friend. Gary was livid with his mum and stormed out after a few choice words. Kelly took up the offer of a few pre-stag night drinks. Geri and Sadie wouldn't serve her any more drinks. It wasn't long before Justin ordered an ambulance after Kelly collapsed. After a lot of emotional black mail and pressure from Trevor, Yasmin conceded and decided to go ahead with the wedding after all. Marc was happy she had changed her mind. Eileen was surprised to see Chrissy and Chloe out in town when they were supposed to be at the hospital.
