102. TINNITUS: LIVING WITH DEAFENING NOISE IN HIS HEAD AND CONTEMPLATING SUICIDE

Thanks to Christophe for sharing his story on LEGEND Story. A firefighter from the Gironde region, he was responding to a tanker truck fire on April 3, 2016, when the cab exploded just 10 meters away from him. The accident left him with tinnitus that would go on to haunt him. Millions of people in France suffer from tinnitus, and in some cases, the noise can drive individuals to attempt suicide. Christophe was one of them, but he has learned to live with this constant pain.
