Amanpreet and Sarabjeet elope from their respective homes to start a new life together. Before taking any decision on their own, they meet with K.D Phatak. The couple tells K.D Phatak that they have left their family to start a life together and further explain about their families' rivalry. K.D says that he would take up their case if only they return to their house. He decides to meet Sarabjeet's uncle in prison to find out more about how the conflicts between the families started.
