5. Bamboo

Born in poverty, Darius grows up witnessing the struggles of his parents in making ends meet. Despite having a disability, the one-legged boy resolves to find a job to help his family. After a tragic event, his siblings unravel each other’s suppressed frustrations that lead their household to fall apart even more than they already are. Darius refuses to fall into misery and takes a chance to get on with life with his improvised bamboo leg.
