Lin Xiao speaks to a friendly stranger in the main lobby of her new company. Nan Xiang's ex-boyfriend confronts her new manager on the movie set. Gu Li starts a friendship with her interviewee Xu Wei, while her relationship with Gu Yuan takes a turn.
Lin Xiao is sent to obtain a submission from a famous author. Gu Li visits Gu Yuan at his university dorms.
Lin Xiao coincidentally bumps into her ex-boyfriend Xu Wei, who happens to be a new friend of Gu Li. Wan Ru's father becomes more strict, and visits the girls' apartment.
Lin Xiao tries to get Chongguang to write and meet a deadline. The friendship between Nan Xiang and Gu Li tense when Nan Xiang moves in to live with her boyfriend.

Wanru sets up a homemade dinner to confess to Wei Hai. The four girls go on vacation to a seaside resort.
Gu Li calls the cops on Nan Xiang's boyfriend Xi Cheng. On Valentine's Day, the four girls evaluate their single lives and their love interests.
Wan Ru gets embarrassed on a date, and the other three girls try to comfort her. Gu Yuan gets promoted, and Gu Li receives a call from a mystery man who says he's been kidnapped. Gong Ming and Chongguang get into an argument over Chongguang's upcoming novel.
When Gu Li discovers the identity of the girl who's been taking up Jian Xi's time at school, her and Lin Xiao relive a terrible memory that threatens to tear apart Lin Xiao's relationship with Jian Xi.
Lin Xiao is caught up in a web of lies and deceit as she tries to figure out her relationship with Jian Xi. Meanwhile, Wanru confesses her feelings for Wei Hai.
Gong Ming convinces Lin Xiao to cut her vacation short, while Lin Xiao becomes suspicious of Jian Xi when she catches him with Lin Quan. Nan Xiang grows uncomfortable with her fame.
Nan Xiang quits the entertainment industry. Lin Xiao breaks up with Jian Xi, which leaves her in the company of the Chongguang and Gong Ming brothers.
Wanru learns a lesson in dating and unrequited love when she gets locked in a room with Wei Hai overnight.
Nan Xiang is confused by Zhijian's kind gestures, while chaos ensues at M.E. when Chongguang disappears on the morning of his book launch press conference.
