Season 2

In the Season 2 premiere, Evelyn, Carl and Leo move back to Arizona; and Shaniece, who's suffering from separation anxiety, has no one to help her with a big move of her own. In other events, Evelyn receives some potentially life-changing news.

Evelyn gives Leo and Shaniece each a new puppy; Shaniece goes to therapy to address lingering issues from her and her mother's past.

Shaniece asks Evelyn to go with her to therapy so they can work on something they have both struggled with; Evelyn tries to help a domestic abuse survivor.

Evelyn continues to struggle with conception as her 40th birthday approaches, leading her to make a difficult decision; Shaniece reaches out to Bow Wow for career advice.
