8. Episode 8

Nyssen (Lars Eidinger) welcomes his guests from business and politics. On the Reichstag, the first flames ignite. A bomb detonates at the castle. Whoever makes a speech now is dedicated to death. Too late, Rath (Volker Bruch) recognizes the momentous error of the hour. In the Reichstag, he goes through the trauma of his life a second time. Anyone who escapes the flames will have to leave Germany tomorrow. The dark age begins. The dance is over.
