The Tottori Sand Dunes on the Sea of Japan are a vast world of nothingness. 2 million visitors a year are drawn by scenery that is utterly different from their daily surroundings. Businesspeople who crave even a momentary liberation from the daily grind of numbers and memos in their cramped offices.
