117. Kushiro Tokachi

Animal photographer Iwago Mitsuaki heads to Kushiro and Tokachi! He canoe-walks with his kitty on Lake Kussharo in the early morning. He encounters a Yezo deer on the Kushiro River and succeeds in capturing a dynamic scene! Three cute kittens synchronize at Lake Akan!? A cat at a hot spring inn in Ashoro-cho guides him to a secret spot in the forest. In Kushiro, he visits a deep spot known only to those in the know, where cats gather at night under the neon lights. Two cats who used to live on the beach for kelp fishing have moved from Sapporo and seem content with life by the sea. Narrated by Tsukamoto Takashi.
