16. Guatemala - Volcanoes on Mayan Territory

In Guatemala, the Santiaguito volcano was born less than 100 years ago. Scientists are fascinated by its youth and intense activity. Volcanologists from allover the world are attracted by the unique opportunity to observe a volcano in the early stage of its life.
